All about Senzo Mthethwa 

Senzo Mthethwa was born on the 28th of November 1983 to Netty Duduzile Mthethwa and Phineas Zulu. His mom was a domestic worker for the G. Chetty family from Reservoir Hills. He was later adopted by this family and they raised him as one of their own kids. He was raised with the knowledge and understanding of the Hindu culture and also learnt to play the Thabla (Indian classical drums) and sing bhajans and devotional songs. 

He started his stand up comedy career with a local group called, Laughing Stock. Performing alongside comics like Richelieu B, Neil Green, Carvin Goldstone and Arnotte Payne. He then went on to join local community theatre group, The Dingaling Productions, who were a household name with their own brand of humour. Performing with Koobeshen and Kumseela Naidoo, Henry Ramkissoon, Ravi Soobramoney, Pranesh Maharaj and Satchu Annamalai, all under the direction of Yugan Naidoo. 

Senzo Mthethwa is not only an actor, comedian and musician, he has compered major events like The Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik concert and Valentines with Abhi the Rockstar, He has also worked with local promoters, Pinky and Rajiv Mothie, Kumari Shiksha Dance Institute (KSDI) and Tansen Nepaul.

My latest career move has been to co host a radio show called, The Morning Masala with Romeo Chonco on Lotus FM. Our first show went live on the 08 April 2018. Fun times ahead!
